BTS Jin Tops Weekly Charts, Named Best Male Idol in IdolPick’s 1st Week of August



BTS’s Jin shone brightly in popularity by securing the most votes in IdolPick’s weekly poll.

Jin received 67,944 votes in the “Male Idol – Individual” category for the 1st week of August (August 4–10), earning him first place. With the highest number of votes, he also claimed overall weekly first place, proving the power of his strong fandom and his unique presence.



Having been selected as the best male idol in the weekly poll, Jin has maintained a 12-week consecutive streak of first-place rankings, starting from the 3rd week of May through the 1st week of August. His second solo album, Echo, released on May 16, has seen its title track, “Don’t Say You Love Me,” surpass 300 million streams on Spotify within just three months of release, marking a remarkable achievement.



Continuing his explosive popularity through various solo activities following his military discharge, Jin successfully concluded his first solo concert and world tour, the ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR,’ running from June 28 to August 10 (local time). Starting in Goyang, South Korea, and visiting nine cities including Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the U.S., London in the U.K., and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, he performed a total of 18 sold-out shows. His performances received acclaim for both his visuals and skills, further proving his immense solo power as an artist.
