Boy group Stray Kids took home the grand prize at the 2025 K-World Dream Awards.
On August 21, at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, Stray Kids lifted the trophy for Best Artist of the Year at the 2025 K-World Dream Awards. Along with the grand prize, they also won Group Popularity Award, Main Award, and K-World Class Award, achieving four crowns in total.
In their acceptance speech, Stray Kids said:
“We are truly grateful for this meaningful award. Receiving such a big honor and strength from STAY (fandom name) right before our comeback gives us the drive to start our promotions with passion and create great memories. Throughout this year, we’ve spent dreamlike days thanks to the love we received from STAYs all around the world. Because of the precious gift STAYs have given us, we’ll keep moving forward and build up positive karma for the rest of the year. We love you.”
That day, Stray Kids performed “Chk Chk Boom,” the title track of their July 2024 mini album ATE, as well as “Walkin On Water,” the title track of HOP from SKZHOP HIPTAPE, which marked their sixth consecutive No.1 on the U.S. Billboard 200. They closed the ceremony with their performance, thrilling the audience with overwhelming energy, commanding stage presence, and solid live vocals—once again living up to their reputation as the “performance masters.”
