BTS Jungkook’s “3D” surpasses 1 billion streams on Spotify… 4th solo track, first & most by an Asian solo artist, setting new records
BTS member Jungkook continues his global popularity streak as his solo single “3D” has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform.
Released in September 2023, “3D” has been averaging around 2 million daily streams, propelling it past the 1-billion mark. With this achievement, Jungkook now owns four songs that have each surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify: “Seven” (2.5 billion), “Standing Next to You” (1.2 billion), “Left and Right” (1.1 billion), and “3D.”
According to international music media outlet Pop Core, Jungkook has set a new record as the first and only Asian solo artist to achieve this milestone, and the one with the most billion-streamed songs (four in total) on Spotify.
With this, Jungkook has received four commemorative plaques from Spotify’s Billions Club—special disc-shaped awards given to artists whose tracks surpass 1 billion streams. All four tracks have also been added to Spotify’s Billions Club playlist, which features songs that have crossed the billion-stream milestone.
