BTS member Jimin has once again proven his presence as Spotify’s leading “King of K-pop Streams.”
Jimin’s second solo album title track “Who” has become the most-streamed song of all time on Spotify’s country charts in South Korea, Bulgaria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Venezuela — making him the first and only K-pop artist to achieve this milestone. On Spotify Korea, “Who” has already surpassed 73 million streams, securing its position as the chart’s all-time most-streamed song. As of the August 24 chart, Jimin’s first solo title track “Like Crazy” also surpassed 50 million streams, making him the first and only artist with two songs exceeding 50 million streams on the Spotify Korea chart.
Meanwhile, on the Spotify Global chart, “Who” has exceeded 1.841 billion streams (after filtering), surpassing Mariah Carey’s holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and ranking within the Top 50 most-streamed songs of all time. This marks the highest record ever for a solo track by an Asian artist without collaborations.
In the United States — Spotify’s largest market with approximately 157 million users worldwide — “Who” has earned 393.48 million streams, surpassing Drake’s “Jimmy Cooks” and claiming the No. 93 spot on the all-time most-streamed songs list, also the highest record for any K-pop track.
On Spotify Brazil, the platform’s second-largest market, the track has accumulated 113.11 million streams, becoming the most-streamed K-pop male artist’s song on that chart. “Who” has also surpassed 100 million streams each on Spotify Japan and Thailand charts, solidifying its dominance across multiple regions.
