가수 임영웅의 팬들이 장학금 기부로 선한 영향력을 실천했다. 임영웅 팬클럽 강원영웅시대 영서지역 (춘천방, 대표 신영인)은 지난 1일 춘천시청 접견실에서 춘천시민장학재단(이사장 육동한 시장)에 장학금 1000만원을 기탁했다.
이번 장학금은 임영웅의 정규 2집 발매를 기념해 팬클럽 회원들이 뜻을 모아 마련한 것으로, 기부금은 지역 학생들의 장학사업에 소중히 쓰일 예정이다.강원영웅시대 영서지역은 "임영웅의 선한 영향력을 본받아 앞으로도 지역사회에 나눔을 실천하는 활동을 이어가겠다"고 전했다.
