공개된 사진에는 서울의 분위기 좋은 한 카페에 방문한 최동석의 모습이 담겼다.
또한 최동석은 인스타그램 스토리에 서울 강남구 모습이 담긴 사진을 올리며 "설레"라는 글을 적기도 했다.
한편 최동석은 2009년 아나운서 출신 박지윤과 결혼했으나 2023년 파경을 맞아 현재 이혼 절차를 밟고 있다. 슬하에 1남 1녀를 두고 있다. 최동석은 제주에 살고 있다.
