BTS’s Jimin has made history on Spotify U.S., setting an unprecedented milestone as the only K-pop act to achieve such success, further solidifying his presence.

According to Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, Jimin’s 2nd album MUSE title track Who has surpassed a cumulative 400 million filtered streams on the U.S. chart. With this, Who becomes the first and only K-pop song to achieve over 400 million cumulative streams on Spotify U.S., marking a monumental record. Jimin continues to break various records, proving himself as the most successful K-pop artist on Spotify U.S.

Without any collaborations with overseas artists, Who reached No.1 on Spotify U.S. Daily Top Songs, becoming the first and only K-pop solo track to achieve this feat. On the 5th, Who also achieved 400 days charted on the same chart — another first and only record for a K-pop solo song.

Riding this momentum, Who has now surpassed The Chainsmokers’ Closer on Spotify U.S.’s “Most-Streamed Songs of All Time” list, currently ranked 91st, the highest position ever for a K-pop track.

Additionally, Jimin’s album MUSE has become the first and only K-pop album to surpass 400 million streams on Spotify U.S., also spending 51 weeks on Spotify U.S. Weekly Top Albums — a record for a K-pop solo album, proving his overwhelming popularity in the U.S.

Meanwhile, Jimin holds the record as the K-pop artist with the highest cumulative streams on Spotify U.S., currently exceeding 550 million streams in total.
