I.M, a member of the idol group MONSTA X, has ended his partnership with Sony Music Korea.
On the 15th, Sony Music Korea stated, “After careful discussions, I.M and our company have mutually agreed to terminate his exclusive contract. Since signing with us in 2022, I.M has spent the past three years further solidifying his unique musical identity alongside us. We are deeply grateful to I.M for sharing his music and sincerity, and we will always support him.”
I.M had previously concluded his exclusive contract with Starship Entertainment in August 2022, later joining Sony Music Korea in November of the same year.
Separately, I.M has continued his group activities as a member of MONSTA X. The group recently promoted the title track “N the Front” from their new mini album “THE X,” released on the 1st.
