IU’s pop-up store “Found at Eight” successfully came to a close, drawing an enthusiastic response from fans.
The pop-up store ran from September 10 to 21 on the 5th floor of The Hyundai Seoul’s Epic Seoul. Planned with the theme “a sparkling story that lingers in the heart for a long time” to be shared with UAENA, the event was held through free advance reservations, all of which sold out. Featuring IU’s music, photos, lyrics, and merchandise inspired by the fan club’s 8th-gen character “Ailiean,” the exhibition created a special experience and gifted visitors with an unforgettable day.
The space was designed with a variety of themes. The Main Photo Zone featured an “Ailiean” sculpture alongside a telescope object shaped like the number 8, where visitors could enjoy an animation. The Our World Zone interpreted the bond between IU and UAENA with a cosmic touch. The Infinity Library Zone displayed past album covers and related props, while the Bye, Summer Zone presented IU’s handwritten lyrics and the guitar she used during last year’s concert, laid out like a galaxy, deeply moving fans.
From September 18, to celebrate IU’s 17th debut anniversary, special exhibits were added. The Main Photo Zone was decorated with balloons and ornaments symbolizing “17,” while the Infinity Library Zone unveiled never-before-seen polaroids taken during the shoot for her remake album Flower Bookmark 3, offering fans an even more meaningful experience.
An interactive event also enhanced the fun: guests received an exchange letter from IU at the entrance, with questions that they could answer by exploring each themed space. In the final Love Poem Zone, fans could leave a reply to IU’s letter. A dedicated space also allowed fans to browse and purchase exclusive merchandise, drawing an enthusiastic response.
Adding to the charm, IU’s recorded voice could be heard throughout the venue, sharing heartfelt messages such as, “Have a happy day! Thank you for coming,” which made the experience even more special. On September 20, IU herself visited the pop-up store, and photos and videos posted on her official social media created a stir among fans.
Meanwhile, IU held her fan meet-up 2025 IU FAN MEET-UP [Bye, Summer] on September 13 and 14, spending meaningful time with fans. During the encore stage, she moved hearts by approaching wheelchair-seated fans, singing to them up close, and holding their hands. On her debut anniversary, she also donated 200 million KRW under the name “IUaena” (IU + UAENA) to help the underprivileged, once again showing her trademark love for fans.
IU’s new song “Bye, Summer” is topping domestic and international charts, receiving immense love. She is currently busy filming her upcoming drama “The 21st Century Crown Princess.”
