
Seungmin of Stray Kids marked his birthday by donating 100 million KRW, spreading positive influence.
According to his agency JYP Entertainment on the 22nd, Seungmin donated 100 million KRW to the child welfare organization Green Umbrella ChildFund Korea in celebration of his birthday. His heartfelt donation will be used to support Green Umbrella’s Family Care Child Support Project.
Seungmin shared, “I hope that children who have to endure life like adults at such a young age for the sake of their families can, even for a moment, set down the burdens in their hearts. I hope my support can help lighten their load, even a little, and give them strength to dream of the future.”
Seungmin has consistently given back through donations, meaningfully returning the love he receives from fans. On his birthday last year, he also donated 100 million KRW to Green Umbrella’s Self-Reliance Support Program for youth. In April this year, together with his Stray Kids members, he donated a total of 800 million KRW through the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision to aid emergency relief efforts for wildfire victims in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold their solo concert “Stray Kids World Tour ” at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on October 18 and 19. This marks their first-ever domestic stadium concert in their 7 years since debut and will serve as the finale of their world tour, which spans 34 regions with 54 shows worldwide.
