On September 20–21, the group held their RIIZING LOUD concert at Impact Arena in Bangkok, selling out both shows and performing in front of about 22,000 fans over two days.
Before the first concert, a press conference was held with over 90 media outlets in attendance, showing the immense interest in RIIZE. Participants included 17 TV broadcasters such as Channel 3 and Channel 7 (Thailand’s public broadcasters), nine newspapers including Thairath, Daily News, and Matichon, 12 magazines including Praew and Sudsapda, and more than 50 online outlets such as TrueID Music, TofuPOP, and Sanook.
RIIZE expressed their excitement, saying, “We’ve returned to Bangkok since our fan-con last July. You’ll be able to see how much we’ve grown since then.” During the concert, they showcased a wide variety of performances, including their first full album’s title track Fly Up, as well as Combo, Boom Boom Bass, Love 119, Talk Saxy, and Get A Guitar. Their stages, full of youthful musical energy, captivated the audience.
Fans couldn’t take their eyes off the stage, expressing their love for the members with record-breaking decibel levels. Special fan events included a massive sing-along for Memories and At the End of Every Day, a “LET’s RISE ♥” lightbox that illuminated the center of the 4th-floor seats, and heartfelt hand banners with messages such as, “Fly far away, whenever you look back, BRIIZE will always be here,” and “Soar high, BRIIZE will be the wings that lift RIIZE.”
On September 22, following the concert, RIIZE also held a signing event at Siam Paragon, one of Bangkok’s most famous shopping malls, drawing another huge crowd. Meanwhile, since September 18, a 170-pyeong (approx. 560m²) pop-up store has been generating explosive buzz. It features official merchandise from their first full album, special RiRAISE character MD designed to reflect Thai culture, and a collaboration with local favorite macaron brand SOURI for a limited-edition RIIZE macaron collection.
Meanwhile, RIIZE is set to make history as the first K-pop idol group to perform at the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL) in Texas, USA, on October 4 (local time).
