MONSTA X’s Shownu Becomes the Star of Teddy Swims’ Shoutout
“Trustworthy Vocal Performer” Shownu of MONSTA X has captured global attention after receiving a shoutout from American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims.
On the 25th, Billboard’s official SNS shared a video of Teddy Swims reacting to Shownu’s cover of Bad Dreams. In the clip, Teddy Swims watched Shownu’s performance from the YouTube variety show Limousine Service on the KBS Kpop channel. He expressed admiration throughout, praising Shownu’s smooth delivery of the high notes with his sweet vocals and even humming along to the delicate ending notes, offering a rich and enthusiastic reaction.
Previously, Teddy Swims had already responded by commenting “Wow !!!!” on a fan-edited clip of Shownu’s Bad Dreams cover. With the Billboard SNS post, he further showcased his appreciation by releasing a full reaction video, directly complimenting Shownu’s rendition while watching it together.
