“Fashion Icon V, Admired Since Trainee Days” — BTS V Named Role Model by Aoen Member Gaku



BTS’s V has been mentioned as the role model of a Japanese boy group member, once again proving his immense popularity and influence in Japan.



Vogue Japan published an interview article titled “Q&A with aoen: 7 Celebrities Reveal Their True Selves.” Aoen is HYBE’s next-generation J-pop boy group, formed through the audition program “応援-HIGH” and debuted on June 11, 2025.



Aoen member Gaku responded to the question “What are you most passionate about these days?” by saying:


“Fashion and dance. I feel like dance is what allows me to express myself the best. I’ve always loved fashion and been influenced by it. Lately, I’m especially into scarves and ties — I love the vintage vibe.”



When asked “Who is your fashion icon?” he replied:


“BTS’s V. I’ve admired him since my trainee days. I was around sixteen at the time, so no matter how much I tried to copy his style, it just didn’t suit me. I hope that as I get older and my aura matures, I’ll be able to dress like V.”
