Global girl group KATSEYE, formed under HYBE and Geffen Records, has reached a significant milestone on the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify.


According to Spotify on October 1, KATSEYE’s second EP, ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,’ has surpassed 700 million cumulative streams. This marks the highest streaming count for a girl group’s single album released this year.


The group’s Spotify Monthly Listeners have also surged dramatically. During their debut EP ‘SIS (Soft Is Strong)’ era, KATSEYE recorded 8.19 million monthly listeners. That number has now skyrocketed to 32,033,989, making them the No. 1 girl group on Spotify for the same period (September 1–30).


KATSEYE’s rise is also evident across major global music charts. Their track ‘Gabriela’ ranked 10th on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart (September 19–25), marking the group’s highest position to date. Other tracks—‘Gnarly’ (No. 72, charted for 21 cumulative weeks) and ‘Touch’ (No. 156, 18 cumulative weeks)—also continue their strong performance on the same chart.







KATSEYE’s success extends to the U.S. Billboard charts as well. ‘Gabriela’ debuted at No. 56 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 (dated October 4). On the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts—which rank songs based on streaming across more than 200 countries and regions—the song placed 20th and 13th, respectively. Despite fierce competition from new releases by pop star Cardi B, KATSEYE maintained impressive chart strength.
