배우 이요원(45)이 데뷔 27년 만에 첫 예능 MC 도전에 나섰다. '살림남' 새 MC 자리를 꿰찬 것.KBS 2TV '살림하는 남자들 시즌2'(이하 '살림남') 측은 16일 오전 스타뉴스에 "이요원이 새 MC로 합류한다"라면서 "이요원의 첫 녹화분은 오는 25일 방송된다"라고 밝혔다.
이로써 이요원은 최근 하차한 진행자인 가수 백지영의 빈자리를 채운다. 특히 처음으로 예능 MC로 나선 만큼 더욱 뜨거운 기대감이 쏠리고 있다. 더불어 이요원은 2003년 23세라는 이른 나이에 결혼해 슬하에 1남 2녀를 둔 '다둥이 맘'이기에, 시청자들의 공감을 자극하는 활약이 전망된다.
'살림남'은 매주 토요일 오후 10시 45분에 시청자들을 찾아가고 있다.
