Melon launches MMA2025 pre-event “Bias Point Exchange Booth,” igniting excitement among K-pop fans





Ahead of the main ceremony of the Melon Music Awards 2025 (MMA2025), the annual festival that thrills music fans every year, Melon has kicked off a series of pre-events — the first being the “Bias Point Exchange Booth”, which has already become a hot topic thanks to enthusiastic participation from K-pop fans.

Kakao Entertainment’s music platform Melon announced that it is hosting the “Bias Point Exchange Booth” event until October 31, as part of the pre-celebration for “The 17th Melon Music Awards 2025,” which will take place on Saturday, December 20 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. This event invites fans to proudly showcase what makes their favorite artist special. The Top 3 artists who accumulate the most points will be widely promoted both online and offline, earning major recognition and exposure.

To participate, users can visit the Melon mobile app or website, select their favorite (“bias”) artist, and enter their “falling-for moment” (the reason they became a fan) as a point submission. After clicking “Accumulate Points,” participants must screenshot their submission, post it on social media with the designated hashtags, and upload the proof image in the event page comments to complete entry.

Paid members can participate up to three times per day, while free members can join once per day. Each participation grants 10 points both to the user and their chosen artist.

After the event concludes, artists with the highest total “Bias Points” will receive special rewards.



The No.1 artist will be featured in outdoor ads across Seoul and KakaoTalk banner ads, celebrating their honorary win.



The Top 3 artists will also be promoted on the Melon app’s main banner and Melon’s official social media, allowing fans to proudly highlight the charms of their favorite stars.
