BLACKPINK to Make a Comeback in December? YG Responds: “Doing Our Best on Final Production Stage” [Official Statement]
Girl group BLACKPINK is preparing for a new album.
On the 16th, YG Entertainment told Star News, “Since this is BLACKPINK’s first album release in a long time, we are doing our utmost in the final production stages to ensure its high quality.”
The agency added, “We will share detailed information, including the release schedule, through official promotional channels.”
Earlier that day, one media outlet reported that BLACKPINK, who had originally aimed for a November comeback, is now set to release their new album in December.
BLACKPINK’s last full-group album was ‘BORN PINK,’ their second full-length release in September 2022.
If the new album comes out this December, it will mark their first group album in about three years.
In July of this year, BLACKPINK released their digital single “JUMP,” which received great love from fans.
