BTS member Jungkook has achieved another global milestone as his hit single “Seven” received Platinum certification in the Streaming category from the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (SNEP), the French Recording Association.
Recently, SNEP announced through its official account that Jungkook’s solo single “Seven” had earned Platinum status, explaining that the track recorded the equivalent of 30 million streams in France.
Previously, Jungkook earned a total of three Gold certifications from SNEP for his solo songs “Seven,” “3D,” and “Standing Next to You.”
His first solo album “GOLDEN” also received a Gold certification from the association. In the United States, “Seven” sold over 2 million units, qualifying for Double Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
In Japan, “Seven” surpassed 100 million cumulative streams, earning Platinum certification in the streaming category from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).
In the United Kingdom, the track sold over 400,000 units, earning Gold certification in the singles category from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
Additionally, “Seven” received Double Platinum certification from Music Canada, as well as Platinum certification in New Zealand (RMNZ), and Gold certifications in Italy (FIMI), Belgium (BEA), Portugal (AFP), and Spain, further solidifying Jungkook’s immense global influence and presence as a solo artist.
