Kang Daniel Previews New Japanese Single “Watercolor” at Tokyo Fan Meeting

Following his tours in the U.S. and Latin America, Kang Daniel warmed the hearts of global fans with his recent Japan fan meetings.

On October 18 in Osaka and October 20 in Tokyo, Kang Daniel held fan meetings, connecting with his Japanese fandom, Flody. At the Tokyo event, he performed an unreleased song for the first time, receiving an enthusiastic response. The track, titled “Watercolor,” is set to release as his new Japanese single on October 22, but fans were treated to its debut performance during the fan meeting. Kang Daniel shared,

“I am always grateful to everyone who comes to see me and supports me. As a way of giving back, I wrote this song, ‘Watercolor.’ It tells the story of my world being filled again with traces of good emotions, which I didn’t realize at the time. I hope fans can see it as an expression of the feelings I’ve experienced thanks to them.”

Alongside the new single, Kang Daniel performed eight songs, alternating between tracks released in Japan and Korea, including “re8el” and “episode.” The event also featured Q&A sessions with fans, interactive mission games, photo opportunities, and more, bringing laughter and heartfelt moments throughout the 90-minute gathering. He concluded by saying,

“Stay healthy and don’t forget me until we meet again,” promising fans a future reunion.

The fan meeting reaffirmed Kang Daniel’s strong Japanese fanbase and global influence, offering more than just a concert — it became a shared moment of connection between artist and fans. With the official release of “Watercolor” on October 22, Kang Daniel is set to create another wave of excitement in Japan.
