
TWS Brings Fresh Winter Energy to Billboard Korea’s Digital Cover
Rising boy group TWS has captured hearts once again as the latest digital cover stars of Billboard Korea, showcasing their deep passion for music and their team.
On October 27, Billboard Korea unveiled a collaborative digital cover featuring TWS — composed of Shinyu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin — in partnership with fashion brand MLB. The pictorial presents a dreamlike image of the group embarking on an adventure through the crisp early-morning air. Their curious gazes at the swirling snowflakes evoke the excitement of welcoming a new, invigorating winter.
In the accompanying interview, TWS opened up about the creative journey behind their fourth mini album, “play hard.” Reflecting on the group’s artistic evolution, Hanjin shared, “We’ve always shown a youthful side of ourselves, but we thought it was time to show a cooler, more mature image. This album felt like a natural step in that direction.” Jihoon, who took part in choreographing the title track “OVERDRIVE,” added, “We talked a lot among ourselves. We said, ‘We’re people who shine — let’s not set limits for ourselves.’ We didn’t want to repeat what was familiar.”
The members also expressed their strong bond and appreciation for one another. Shinyu said, “I truly want to thank the members for making each other shine. Even when it’s not their part, seeing them dancing passionately in the background always makes me feel grateful.” Youngjae added, “We’re all still young, and even though we started working early, I think it’s amazing how everyone gives their all for something they love.”
Looking ahead, the group shared their ambitious dreams. Kyungmin expressed, “I hope our music and empowering lyrics resonate with fans overseas. We want to become a truly unique group.” Dohun shared his global aspiration: “I really want to go to the Billboard Music Awards one day. Like our senior artists who made history, I want to follow in their footsteps and leave our own mark.”
