Tony An of H.O.T. is beginning an exciting new journey.
On November 3, B-Wave Entertainment announced that they had signed an exclusive contract with Tony An. The agency stated,
“Based on our systematic approach and Tony An’s long-standing experience in the industry, we plan to discover and nurture new artists together.”
Debuting in 1996 as a member of H.O.T., Tony An has been a pioneer of K-pop and a key figure in shaping Korean popular culture. Beyond his musical achievements, he has maintained a steady presence in broadcasting and other entertainment fields, continuing to enjoy widespread fan support.
B-Wave CEO Gu Bon-yeong commented on the contract, saying,
“Tony An is an artist who constantly challenges himself. We aim to create a new era of music business with him, going beyond a simple agency affiliation. His joining is expected to bring fresh momentum to both B-Wave and the industry as a whole.”
Tony An also shared his vision, stating,
“Music has been at the center of my life from my H.O.T. days until now. Using my experience, I want to grow together with B-Wave’s junior artists and help create another K-pop legacy on the global stage.”
Launched officially in June 2025, B-Wave Entertainment is a K-pop artist management company targeting the global market. The company boasts a lineup of top industry experts, with renowned producer R.Tee joining as the main producer.
B-Wave plans to continue developing and managing artists, producing music, and leading the K-pop industry, while expanding its business footprint worldwide.
