Rising boy group 82MAJOR has achieved a new career milestone with their latest album “Trophy.”

According to Hanteo Chart on November 4, 82MAJOR’s fourth mini album “Trophy” (members Nam Seongmo, Park Seokjun, Yoon Yechan, Cho Seongil, Hwang Seongbin, and Kim Dokyun) sold 100,243 copies within five days of release (October 30–November 3). This figure far surpasses the group’s previous first-week sales, marking their first time exceeding the 100,000 mark. Consistently growing with each release, 82MAJOR has now solidified its steady upward trajectory.

The success of “Trophy” reflects the group’s evolving identity and growth narrative. Since debut, 82MAJOR has continuously broken their own first-week sales records, demonstrating their musical and performance competitiveness with this new album. Reaching over 100,000 sales in just five days underscores the group’s strengthening fanbase and trust from listeners. Notably, as a “performance-oriented idol” group, the achievement holds deeper meaning—showing how their on-stage experience and energy have translated into tangible album results.

After debuting, 82MAJOR drew attention for holding a solo concert unusually early in their career. Since then, they have continued the tradition of staging concerts following each album release. Starting with a 400-seat venue for their first show, the group has since grown to sell out three consecutive performances in venues with over 1,000 seats. Following their latest comeback, anticipation for 82MAJOR’s next solo concert among fans—known as Attitude—is running high.

In addition to their domestic success, 82MAJOR has also been invited to perform at international festivals, further cementing their reputation as a “performance powerhouse.” Known for their commanding stage presence and live prowess, they are often praised as a group that “turns audiences into fans after one performance.” Their recent success is no coincidence, but rather the result of countless hours and experience honed on stage.

Moreover, 82MAJOR continues to elevate their artistry as a self-producing idol group. All members participated in writing and composing songs for “Trophy,” enhancing their musical independence and authenticity—qualities that have resonated deeply with fans. The title track “Trophy” blends a tech-house foundation with an addictive bassline and intense rap-making, symbolizing the trophy earned through perseverance and walking one’s own path amidst endless competition.

With their fourth mini album marking a new career high, 82MAJOR plans to maintain their momentum through active promotions. The group is receiving strong interest from major music shows such as KBS2’s “Music Bank,” MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” and SBS’s “Inkigayo,” as well as invitations to domestic and international festival stages. With proven musicality and stage dominance, 82MAJOR is poised to continue their ascent as one of K-pop’s next major forces.
