Global rookie group ILLIT heightened anticipation for their comeback with a surprise spoiler of their upcoming release during their solo concert.
ILLIT (members YUNAH, MINJU, MOKA, WONHEE, and IROHA) successfully wrapped up ‘2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY ENCORE’ on November 8–9 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park, Songpa-gu. The encore concert served as the grand finale of their tour, which began in Seoul last June and continued through Kanagawa and Osaka, Japan, in August and September. All eight shows sold out, once again proving ILLIT’s powerful ticket-selling force.
Held ahead of the release of their 1st single album ‘NOT CUTE ANYMORE’ on November 24, the concert drew explosive enthusiasm from fans. True to their word, the members raised excitement from the opening by teasing, “We’ve prepared a little spoiler gift,” before revealing a glimpse of the choreography with chic expressions, prompting loud cheers throughout the venue.
The encore performance featured an expanded setlist and special segments, adding variety and emotion. ILLIT captivated the audience with live stages of every track from their 3rd mini album ‘bomb’ (released in June), including the title track ‘Do the Dance (Borrowed Cat)’. They also performed ‘Toki Yo Tomare’ (時よ止まれ), the title track from their first Japanese single released in September, for the first time in Korea, thrilling fans with the exclusive stage.
Their close bond with fans, known as GLITT, shone brightly throughout the show. The members appeared from the audience, exchanged eye contact and greetings up close, and created unforgettable memories. During the encore, they sang ‘Night Picnic’ together with fans, then returned to the stage for a double encore with repeated performances of ‘oops!’, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
As the concert drew to a close, the members grew emotional and shed tears of gratitude. They expressed, “Thanks to you, we’ve been able to grow so much. Through our album promotions and performances this year, we’ve realized once again how precious GLITT is to us. We truly felt your love throughout this concert,” adding, “Please wait for the day we perform on even bigger stages. We’ll work hard to become artists you can be proud of.”
Finally, ILLIT teased their upcoming album with a playful declaration, saying, “We’ve packed all our cuteness into this concert, but as of today, our cuteness is over. From now on, the word ‘cute’ is banned! Please look forward to our 1st single album ‘NOT CUTE ANYMORE.’”
ILLIT will continue building anticipation by releasing their concept photos for the new album on November 10 and 12.
