“Please Don’t Change,” a track from Jungkook’s first solo album GOLDEN, released in November 2023, has exceeded 200 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. It is the fifth track from the GOLDEN album to reach the 200-million mark.
Including “Please Don’t Change,” Jungkook now has 12 songs that have surpassed 200 million streams:
Solo singles “Seven” (2.632 billion), “Standing Next to You” (1.332 billion), “3D” (1.055 billion), “Yes or No” (314 million), “Left and Right” (1.129 billion), “Dreamers” (500 million), “Still With You” (384 million), “Stay Alive” (362 million), “Never Let Go” (217 million), as well as BTS album solo tracks “Euphoria” (660 million) and “My Time” (280 million).
Jungkook also extends his record as the K-pop solo artist with the most songs surpassing 500 million streams in Spotify history (six songs).
Jungkook has four songs that have surpassed 1 billion streams on his Spotify profile (“Seven,” “Left and Right,” “Standing Next to You,” and “3D”), making him the first and most in Spotify history among all Asian solo artists. His Spotify artist profile has accumulated 9.95 billion streams across all credits, setting records as the fastest Asian artist and the first K-pop soloist to achieve this milestone — solidifying his status as a dominant streaming king.
“Please Don’t Change” is an electronic dance-pop track created in collaboration with world-renowned DJ Snake. Its sophisticated sound and Jungkook’s captivating vocals leave a strong impression. Jungkook’s delicately expressed emotions, powerful delivery, and addictive melody create a deep sense of resonance and lingering impact.
