HYBE and Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE has once again proven their status as a rising powerhouse, maintaining steady momentum on the U.S. Billboard main charts even as the Christmas season begins.
According to the latest Billboard charts (dated November 29), released on the 25th (KST), “Gabriela” — a track from KATSEYE’s second EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS — ranked No. 31 on the Hot 100, matching last week’s position. This achievement comes despite a surge of Christmas carols and seasonal songs occupying the upper ranks of the chart.
In fact, this week’s Hot 100 top tier is packed with holiday music, including Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (No. 8), Wham!’s “Last Christmas” (No. 11), Bobby Helms’ “Jingle Bell Rock” (No. 14), and Ariana Grande’s “Santa Tell Me” (No. 19), among eight such tracks in total. Considering the continued strength of Taylor Swift’s new releases and the soundtrack from K-Pop Demon Hunters, KATSEYE’s sustained presence becomes even more impressive.
KATSEYE also set a new personal record on the Pop Airplay chart, which is based on radio play metrics. “Gabriela” reached No. 11, marking its 16th consecutive week charting. Because radio listenership is a key indicator of mainstream appeal, this milestone further highlights the group’s firm establishment in the U.S. market.
Their album continues to perform strongly as well. The EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which previously peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, ranked No. 31 this week — successfully remaining on the chart for 21 consecutive weeks. It also secured spots on Top Album Sales (No. 10) and Top Current Album Sales (No. 9), marking its 21st straight week on both charts.
