BTS member Jin touched fans’ hearts by sharing news of his warm philanthropy and a glimpse of his peaceful daily life a day before his 33rd birthday (December 4). On the 3rd, the Busan Namgwang Social Welfare Foundation announced that Jin had donated 100 million KRW on December 1 in celebration of his upcoming birthday. The donation will be used for scholarship programs supporting underprivileged children and teenagers in the Busan area, as well as self-reliance programs for young people leaving protective facilities.



Park Do-young, head of the Namgwang Social Welfare Foundation, expressed gratitude, saying, “Jin’s support will present dreams to children and teenagers in the community and become a gift of hope for marginalized neighbors.” Celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, the foundation began as a child welfare facility and has supported vulnerable groups for eight decades. Jin has long shown interest in nurturing young talent, and this donation is seen as a reflection of his values.



Fans responded proudly to Jin’s philanthropic act, calling him a “donation fairy.” One fan praised, “I’m proud of Jin’s donation—he truly is a donation fairy,” while another said, “I’m touched by Jin’s big and generous heart. It’s amazing to see him act so thoughtfully on his birthday.”



On the night of the 3rd, Jin posted a selfie taken in an indoor gym on Weverse without any caption. Dressed comfortably in white sneakers and a gray hoodie after working out, he appeared relaxed. An individual who seems to be Jungkook was spotted in the background, which quickly became a hot topic among fans.



After being discharged from the military in June 2024, Jin released his first solo album HAPPY in November, followed by his second solo album ECHO in May 2025. From June to November, he held his first solo world tour, Run Seokjin Ep. Tour, covering nine cities across Asia, North America, and Europe, and successfully completed it. He is currently preparing for BTS’s full-group comeback, scheduled for spring 2026.
