‘Bocchi the Rock!’ Kessoku Band’s First Korea Concert a Massive Success: “We Want to Achieve New Dreams”

Kessoku Band, the in-anime band from the Japanese animation Bocchi the Rock!, held their first-ever overseas solo concert in Korea, meeting local fans with explosive enthusiasm.

On December 6, the concert “KESSOKUBAND LIVE in KOREA ‘From Shimokitazawa’” took place at KINTEX Hall 9 in Goyang. As Kessoku Band’s first solo concert abroad, tickets sold out immediately upon release, proving their immense popularity.

Throughout the show, Kessoku Band delivered powerful live performances centered around their signature songs such as “青春コンプレックス (Seishun Complex),” “ギターと孤独と蒼い惑星 (Guitar, Loneliness and Blue Planet),” and “カラカラ (Karakara).” Each song captured the band’s unique sound and emotional depth, filling the venue with electrifying energy.

For the encore, they performed “転がる岩、君に朝が降る (Rock’n’Roll, Morning Light Falls on You),” bringing the excitement to its peak. The synergy of their energetic band sound and stage production created a moment of true unity with the audience, who responded with roaring applause and cheers.
