Spectacular birthday support events celebrating BTS member V were held both in Korea and around the world.



V’s Japanese fanbase, Taetae Universe, announced that it is running birthday advertisements at Haneda Airport for the first time in Japan. Birthday celebration videos are being displayed on a massive 30-meter LED screen at Airport Garden inside Haneda Airport, 18 vertical LED panels, and large digital signage boards, capturing the attention of travelers passing through the airport. Birthday videos are also being broadcast on large LED screens in nine cities across Japan, including Tokyo, Sapporo, Akita, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, Ehime, Fukuoka, and Okinawa. The advertisement shown on Shibuya’s iconic I-Vision screen is available to watch on YouTube 24 hours a day.



Purple lighting shows symbolizing V’s “Borahae” message are being held at Hokkaido Tower, Nagoya TV Tower (Mirai Tower), and Fukuoka Tower. Birthday support is also displayed on a large advertising screen at Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, a major transfer hub operated by five railway companies with 11 intersecting lines. In addition, advertising on the Az Cruise boat running along Osaka’s Dotonbori River—where birthday ads were held for the first time in Japan—is being carried out for the third consecutive year.



Taetae Universe is also publishing a special birthday extra edition of The Asahi Shimbun this year. In Korea, digital advertising support is underway at Hongik University Station on the Airport Railroad line. The fanbase has also made donations to the Japanese Red Cross and Save the Children Japan.



In Nigeria, the fanbase BTSV_Nigeria is broadcasting birthday videos on the Alexandra Rotary LED screen as well as three large screens in Ikoyi and Lagos. The Malaysian fanbase Taehyung Malaysia is running advertisements featuring V on outdoor screens and a super-sized billboard in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur’s upscale fashion district. A purple lighting show was also held at Pavilion KL Tower, a landmark in Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile, the Nepalese fanbase KTH Nepal is displaying birthday celebration videos on a large screen at Durbar Mall, located in the heart of Kathmandu.
