ILLIT’s track “NOT CUTE ANYMORE” is gaining strong momentum on the U.S. Billboard charts, bringing the rookie girl group closer than ever to entering the prestigious Billboard Hot 100.



According to Billboard’s latest chart update dated January 17, the title track from ILLIT’s first single album climbed three spots to No. 7 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. This chart ranks songs that narrowly missed the main Hot 100.

“NOT CUTE ANYMORE” first entered the Bubbling Under chart at No. 17 on January 3, rose to No. 10 the following week, and has continued its upward trajectory for three consecutive weeks.



The song is showing even stronger performance on Billboard’s global charts, which are based on streaming data from over 200 countries and regions. This week, it ranked No. 45 on the Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) chart and No. 60 on the Global 200, climbing seven and ten spots, respectively—marking the song’s highest rankings to date.



Driven by the explosive popularity of short-form content, “NOT CUTE ANYMORE” has become a key soundtrack for the viral “Hood Job Shot Challenge.” The song remains firmly in the Top 10 of YouTube’s Daily Shorts Popular Songs chart across major markets, including the United States (No. 6), Australia (No. 5), the United Kingdom (No. 7), and Canada (No. 7). In Korea, it has held the No. 1 position on YouTube’s chart for over 30 consecutive days as of January 11.



Fueled by this surge in popularity, ILLIT recently returned to domestic music shows, further igniting a chart reversal. Following their final stage on SBS’s Inkigayo on January 11, “NOT CUTE ANYMORE” climbed to No. 17 on the Melon daily chart.



Meanwhile, ILLIT’s second Japanese digital single “Sunday Morning,” released on January 13, debuted at No. 1 on AWA Music’s real-time rising chart, demonstrating the group’s growing popularity in Japan.
