Ahead of their comeback, BTS is showcasing overwhelming streaming power on Spotify.
According to music chart outlet About Music, BTS ranked No.1 as the most-streamed K-pop artist on Spotify every single day from January 1 to January 17, 2026—holding the top spot for 17 consecutive days without exception. This dominance is not new. From 2018 to 2025, BTS claimed the title of Spotify’s most-streamed K-pop artist of the year for eight consecutive years. With a strong start in 2026, they are already signaling a potential ninth straight year at No.1.
As of January 15, BTS recorded 22.32 million daily streams, nearly double that of second-place Stray Kids, who logged 11.2 million streams. Even without a new release, BTS continues to prove the strength and consistency of its global fandom.
BTS is set to release a new album this spring. As their first full-group comeback following military service, anticipation is exceptionally high. Dominating the charts even before returning, BTS once again earns the response: “Only BTS.”
Already recognized as the most-streamed group in Spotify history, BTS also ranked No.1 among K-pop artists in Spotify Wrapped 2025, reaffirming their status as the definitive global K-pop group.
