ITZY is aiming for the summer of 2022 with the new song 'SNEAKERS'.
Ahead of the release of the new mini-album 'CHECKMATE' on July 15, ITZY posted an image of the new album tracklist on the official SNS channel at 0 o'clock on the 1st, raising the expectations of domestic and foreign fans.
The new title song 'SNEAKERS' is expected to fill the taste of Generation Z this summer with an attractive song with an energetic melody. 
According to the track list, ITZY's 5th mini album includes the title song 'SNEAKERS', 'RACER', 'WHAT I WANT', 'Free Fall', '365', ' DOMINO' and 'SNEAKERS (English Ver.)' have a total of 7 tracks. Star Wars * (GALACTIKA *), hit song maker KENZIE, and London Noise (LDN Noise), such as domestic and foreign writers, have added their touch to emphasize ITZY's unique energy.
Recently, ITZY showed off the rising trend of global popularity, revealing the aspect of the 'K-pop 4th generation queen'. 
In the 'Oricon First Half Ranking' announced by Oricon of Japan recently, ITZY took first place in the 'Rookie Ranking by Artist'. They were selected as rookie artists with the highest total sales during the first half of this year (counting period 2021.12.27 ~ 2022.06.20), and the award of an overseas artist in this category adds meaning to the second time in history.
From August, they will start their first world tour 'ITZY THE 1ST WORLD TOUR <CHECKMATE>'. On August 6th and 7th, two solo performances will be held at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium in Seoul Olympic Park and the tour will kick off.
