걸그룹 ITZY (있지·예지, 리아, 류진, 채령, 유나)의 'CHECKMATE'가 써클차트(구 가온차트) 29주차 주간 리테일 앨범차트에서 1위를 차지하며 인기를 빛냈다. 'CHECKMATE'는 29주차 주간차트 집계 기간 중 발매 당일인 7월 15일 오후 3시에 가장 많이 판매됐다.
ITZY는 약 10개월 만에 발매한 새 미니 앨범 'CHECKMATE'를 통해 강력한 에너지를 발산했다. 타이틀곡 'SNEAKERS'는 그룹 특유의 당당함과 에너제틱한 멜로디로 올여름 Z세대 취향을 저격한 곡이다.
