While BLACKPINK is successfully conducting the largest world tour of a K-pop girl group, the Japanese performance schedule has been revealed for the first time.
YG Entertainment posted a Japanese concert poster for 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]' on the 7th at 3pm. According to this, BLACKPINK will hold four concerts in two cities next year: Tokyo Dome on April 8 and 9, and Kyocera Dome Osaka on June 3 and 4.
With this, BLACKPINK will expand the scale of the tour with a total of 18 performances in 11 Asian cities. Earlier, they started in Bangkok on January 7 and 8, 2023, followed by Hong Kong on January 13, 14 and 15, Riyadh on January 20, Abu Dhabi on January 28, Kuala Lumpur on March 4 and Kuala Lumpur on March 11. We have announced performances in Jakarta on the 12th, Kaohsiung on March 18th, Manila on March 25th and 26th, and Singapore on May 13th.
BLACKPINK's Japanese concert is about 3 years since the 'BLACKPINK 2019-2020 WORLD TOUR IN YOUR AREA' dome tour in 2020. The members, who proved their explosive popularity by mobilizing around 205,000 spectators in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka at the time, plan to visit Japan once again to breathe with local fans.
YG said, "Thanks to the enthusiastic support of the fans, we have confirmed the addition of the Japanese dome tour."
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is cruising through the largest world tour of a K-pop girl group, attracting about 1.5 million people. Having sold out all the tickets for 14 concerts in North America in 7 cities and interacting with 200,000 spectators, they embarked on a European tour of 10 concerts in 7 cities. From 2023, it is expected to interact with more global fans by heading to the Asian and Oceanian continents.
