11月21日下午，《M COUNTDOWN》公开了“2019 MAMA”入围歌手的舞台。男子部门新人奖入围歌手有AB6IX、ATEEZ、TOMORROW X TOGETHER、姜丹尼尔、金在奂、X1等六个组合。
最近因为Mnet选秀节目《ProduceX101》深陷投票造假丑闻的X1也入围了该榜单，引起了人们的关注。当天X1还公开了新曲《FLASH》。
Mnet方面表示：“X1尚未确定是否参加“2019 MAMA”。
