BTS member Jimin -> 'Jimin Effect'

BTS member Jimin, often referred to as the 'Jimin Effect,' has once again gained attention as a key player in the global popularity of Korean instant noodles.
Recently, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) and the Korea Customs Service reported that the first-half export revenue of Korean instant noodles reached $446.2 million (approximately 582.7 billion won) by June of this year. 
This marks a 16.4% increase from last year's first-half export revenue of $383.28 million, and it is the first time since 2015 that the export revenue has exceeded $400 million in the first half of the year.
Bloomberg attributed the growth in overseas sales of Korean products to factors such as the mention of "dumpling incident" in the lyrics of Jimin's producing song 'Friend' and the popularity of food items like 'Jimin Coffee,' which is sold in Italy, the home of coffee, as well as yuzu tea mentioned by Jimin during fan interactions.
Jimin's influence on popularizing Korean food products, especially instant noodles, has been coined as the 'Jimin Effect,' highlighting the impact he has on boosting the global appeal and sales of various Korean products.
