Singer Rain is set to hold a solo concert in the United States after a 7-year hiatus.
According to Rain's agency, Rain Company, Rain will hold a solo concert titled 'STILL RAINING' in Atlantic City, New Jersey, at the Hard Rock Live on November 22nd and at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 25th.
This marks Rain's first concert in the United States since his 2016 Asia tour 'THE SQUALL.' The upcoming concert will feature many of Rain's hit songs and diverse stages that showcase the global expansion of K-pop, providing a unique experience for fans. Rain Company stated, "We are preparing a sensational stage like never before to present a differentiated performance."
Rain was previously named one of TIME Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in 2006 and 2011. He has previously held solo concerts at the Caesar's Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, known for its large-scale performances, in 2006 and 2009.
This concert is being co-hosted following a proposal from Alex Kang, CEO of Infinite Prospects Entertainment (IPE). Alex Kang expressed his excitement, saying, "Rain coming to the U.S. market is very exciting. The 'STILL RAINING' tour will become a concert for generations to come. I'm looking forward to the reunion between U.S. K-pop fans and the K-pop legend."
Rain stated, "I'm so thrilled and excited to meet U.S. K-pop fans through this solo concert after such a long time. I hope that this concert, after 7 years of absence, will be a time for U.S. K-pop fans to fully immerse themselves in the charm of K-pop through my music and stage."
Details of Rain's concert schedule in Korea will be announced at a later date following the U.S. tour.
