YG's Treasure received a perfect reception on the Japanese music show 'Music Station' with their overwhelming performance.
Treasure appeared on TV Asahi's 'Music Station' on the 29th, performing the Japanese version of their title track 'BONA BONA' from their 2nd full album 'REBOOT.'
'Music Station' is a prestigious Japanese music program that has been popular for 37 years, and Treasure's first appearance on the show had garnered heated anticipation and attention even before it was broadcast. The production team highlighted Treasure as a group following in the footsteps of YG's Big Bang and Blackpink, emphasizing their global activities.
Treasure made an impressive entrance with their charismatic visuals, immediately dominating the atmosphere. Their dynamic choreography showcased each member's unique personality, and their performances, along with elaborate stage setups and formations, captured the audience's attention. The powerful impact was especially evident during the chorus, as they energetically performed to the grand drumbeat.
Furthermore, Treasure demonstrated their flawless live skills, befitting the title of "performance-oriented artists." They engaged the audience with exceptional stage manners, leading the crowd to cheer and sing along, creating a concert-like atmosphere. After the broadcast, fans took to social media to share Treasure's 'Music Station' stage videos and praised their performance.
Since their official Japanese debut in March 2021, Treasure has been on a steep rise in popularity. All of their Japanese albums released so far have topped the Oricon chart and Line Music's chart, including their recent 2nd full album 'REBOOT,' which achieved a five-time crown on major weekly album charts in Oricon and Billboard Japan. The Korean version of the title track 'BONA BONA' also topped various local music charts. The Japanese version has maintained its popularity and continues to rise.
Currently, Treasure is conducting a large-scale Japanese fan meeting tour in five cities with a total of 20 sessions. They will hold fan meetings in Tokyo Ariake Arena for two days starting from the 30th, and they will wrap up the tour with a finale at Tokyo Dome, often referred to as the dream stage, on November 12. In addition, from December 15 to 17, they will meet their domestic fans at the '2023 TREASURE CONCERT [REBOOT] IN SEOUL' held at the Seoul Olympic Park KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Arena).
