Girl group BLACKPINK's 'Kill This Love' music video exceeded 1.9 billion views on YouTube.
According to the agency YG Entertainment on the 4th, Blackpink's 'Kill This Love' music video exceeded 1.9 billion views on YouTube as of 6:13 am on this day. This is a record that has been around 4 years and 8 months since it was released on April 5, 2019.
With this, Blackpink became the first K-pop artist to have two music videos with over 1.9 billion views. Previously, their other mega hit song 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' achieved the same number of views and is currently approaching 2.2 billion views.

In particular, it received favorable reviews for its impressive and addictive point choreography, including movements that resemble shooting a long gun, and was listed as the only K-pop song in the 'Top 10 Most Viewed Music Videos Worldwide in 2019'.
The music also left a significant mark on various global charts. In the first week of its release, this song ranked 41st and 24th on the US Billboard main charts, Hot 100 and Billboard 200, respectively, breaking the highest ranking for a K-pop girl group at the time.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently successfully completed the ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR ‘BORN PINK’, the largest world tour for a K-pop girl group, mobilizing over 1.8 million people.
