Lim Young Woong, the singer of 'Do or Die,' has demonstrated global popularity by maintaining a position on the Billboard chart for eight consecutive weeks, according to the latest chart released by the U.S. music publication on December 16.
As per the Billboard chart, Lim Young Woong's 'Do or Die' secured the 150th spot on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' chart. This achievement marks his eighth consecutive week on the Billboard chart, showcasing sustained popularity.
The Billboard Global chart aggregates streaming and sales data from over 200 countries and regions worldwide to determine rankings.
Lim Young Woong previously made his debut on the Billboard 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' chart at 102nd place on June 24 with his release 'Sand Grains' in June, maintaining a total of 11 weeks on the chart.
On December 14, Lim Young Woong attended the 2023 Asia Artist Awards held at the Philippine Arena, where he shone on stage. He had already secured the top spot in the male singer category through the 2023 AAA Popularity Award vote, foreshadowing his popularity award win and hinting at a multi-trophy victory.
Lim Young Woong is set to hold his 2023 nationwide tour concert, 'IM HERO,' from December 29 to December 31 in Daejeon and from January 5 to January 7 in Gwangju. He will conclude with an encore concert on May 25 and 26 at Seoul's Sangam World Cup Stadium in 2024.
