The entertainment agency Attrakt is pursuing a damage compensation lawsuit against individuals involved in the unfair termination of exclusive contracts with former members of the group FIFTY FIFTY—Sae Na, Shiho, and Aran.
On the 19th, Attrakt announced, "We have filed a civil lawsuit for damages and penalty for breach of exclusive contracts against former members Sae Na, Shiho, and Aran, and have actively sought damages for joint illegal acts against those who were deeply involved in the unfair termination of exclusive contracts, including The Givers, Ahn Sung-il, Baek Jin-sil, and the parents of the three members."
Attrakt has calculated the damages and penalties to be in the range of hundreds of billions of won. However, it is reported that, at the stage of submitting the lawsuit, the agency has opted for a specific partial claim method, considering the possibility of expanding damages during the course of the lawsuit.
Park Jae-hyun, an attorney at the law firm Gwangjang representing the lawsuit, stated, "We will do our best in the legal proceedings, keeping in mind that this lawsuit may be a crucial opportunity to establish a fair trading order in the entertainment industry beyond simple damage recovery."
