BTS's Jimin has made a surprise re-entry into the U.S. Billboard main album chart.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard on January 23 (Korean time), Jimin's first solo album, 'FACE,' released in March of last year, re-entered the Billboard 200 chart at 59th place. This unexpected return is attributed to the significant role played by the LP version of 'FACE,' which began its sequential release by country/region from December of last year. The sales of the LP, which started shipping in the U.S. in mid-January, seem to have contributed to the album's performance.
'FACE' also secured the 2nd place on the 'Vinyl Album' chart, establishing a record as the highest-ranking K-pop solo artist, tying with RM's solo album 'Indigo.' Furthermore, 'FACE' claimed the 1st position on the 'World Albums' chart and re-entered the 'Top Album Sales' and 'Top Current Albums' charts at 4th place each.
