Seventeen Achieve 'Gold' Certification on Japanese Record Association Streaming Chart

The group Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has reaffirmed their outstanding popularity in Japan.
According to the Japanese Record Association on January 30, Seventeen's fourth full-length album title track 'HOT,' along with the tracks 'Darl+ing' and the title track from their second full-length album, 'Clap,' have each surpassed 50 million cumulative streams as of December 2023, earning them 'Gold' certification on the streaming chart. The Japanese Record Association distinguishes certifications based on cumulative streaming numbers, with 'Gold' representing 50 million or more, 'Platinum' for 100 million or more, and 'Diamond' for 500 million or more.
With this achievement, Seventeen now possesses a total of 10 songs certified as 'Gold' on the streaming chart, including 'Very Nice,' 'Don't Wanna Cry,' 'Pretty U,' 'Left & Right,' 'Rock with you,' 'HIT,' and 'Son Goku.'
Seventeen has been enjoying remarkable popularity in Japan. In December of last year, they ranked 3rd with their 10th mini-album 'FML' in the Oricon Annual Ranking 2023's 'Album Ranking' and 'Total Album Ranking.' Their first Japanese best album 'ALWAYS YOURS' secured 5th place, and their 11th mini-album 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN' claimed 7th place. Seventeen is the only artist to have three works in the 'Top 10' on each chart, both domestic and international, according to Oricon.
In addition, Seventeen will hold their encore tour 'SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' AGAIN' at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on March 30-31, Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka on May 18-19, and Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa on May 25-26.
