aespa, under SM Entertainment, heated up Japan with their distinctive performance at the large-scale music festival 'GMO SONIC 2024,' held at the Saitama Super Arena on the 28th.
Starting their stage with the mega-hit 'Next Level,' aespa continued to captivate the local fans with a total of 11 diverse performances, including 'Illusion,' 'Better Things,' 'Welcome To MY World,' 'Thirsty,' 'Hold On Tight,' 'YEPPI YEPPI,' and more.
During the event, the members expressed, "This is our first appearance at GMO SONIC, and we've prepared not only our representative song 'Next Level' but also various styles of songs. We hope you continue to enjoy the performance. Although the weather is cold, we'll heat up the venue with our performance for everyone here," conveying their thoughts in Japanese and further energizing the atmosphere.
aespa showcased a non-stop hit parade, ranging from last year's global sensation 'Spicy' to their powerful debut track 'Black Mamba,' the fourth mini-album's 'Trick or Trick,' and 'Drama,' captivating the audience's attention.
Additionally, aespa is set to participate in 'SMTOWN LIVE 2024 SMCU PALACE @TOKYO,' scheduled for February 21-22 at the Tokyo Dome, continuing their activities in Japan.
