NCT DREAM's new album 'DREAM( )SCAPE' will be released on major music platforms at 6 p.m. today (25th), and the title track 'Smoothie' music video will also be available on YouTube's SMTOWN channel simultaneously. This album depicts NCT DREAM's first journey of escaping from the numbness of reality, caused by dark and challenging situations, to seek an idealistic dream. Through this, they empathize with the struggles and pains of contemporary youth and convey messages of warm comfort and support.
The title track 'Smoothie' is a groovy hip-hop dance track with an impressive 808 bassline, snare rhythms, and repetitive chanting. It confidently delivers a message of drinking away the cold gazes of the world and negative emotions towards oneself, just like a 'Smoothie.' The members' expressions, exuding a sense of relaxation, further enhance the charm of the song.
