Zico and boy group Boys Next Door (Sung-ho, Rio, Myung-jae-hyun, Tae-san, Lee-han, and Woon-hak) are both set to make their debut in the music scene in April.
According to their agency KOZ Entertainment on the 11th, Zico and Boys Next Door will be active in April.
Zico is known as an 'absolute music powerhouse' based on his high popularity among the public. Boys Next Door is a key player in the fifth-generation K-pop group trend. As members of the same agency, they plan to naturally influence each other in their respective main areas.
In particular, Zico will support Boys Next Door extensively in his dual role as an artist and overall producer. KOZ stated, "We have prepared a lot to make the most of Zico and Boys Next Door's strengths and to carry out activities where both artists benefit each other. We will meet the expectations of fans."
Boys Next Door will kick off the comeback fervor first. They will release their second mini-album 'HOW?' on the 15th. 'HOW?' decorates the grand finale of the 'First Love Story Trilogy' that has continued since their debut single. The title track is the unique 'Earth, Wind & Fire.' Members participate in writing and composing five out of seven tracks on the album, singing about the emotions of first love in their own language.
Zico is pushing ahead with the final stages of his comeback, aiming for late April. While he has participated in broadcast program tracks like 'Sae-Sang' and 'Smoke Remix,' his formal comeback is after 1 year and 9 months since the release of his mini-album 'Grown Ass Kid' in July 2022. Additionally, he announced his selection as the new season MC for the KBS 2TV late-night music talk show 'The Seasons' along with the release of his new song.
