According to YG Entertainment on the 13th, the rookie girl group Baby Monster is set to perform their title track 'SHEESH' from their mini 1st album 'BABYMONS7ER' on TV Asahi's live broadcast 'Music Station' ('M-Station') on the 17th. Even before their official debut in Japan, Baby Monster has garnered anticipation by securing their first stage on the popular music program 'M-Station,' which boasts a 38-year history.
It's noteworthy that Baby Monster will present their stage in the original Korean version. YG stated, "Due to the enthusiastic response from local music fans for 'SHEESH,' we decided to perform the original version as it is."
Furthermore, they will kick off full-fledged local promotions by appearing on major music programs such as NHK's 'Venue101' on the 18th and TBS's 'CDTV Live! Live!' on the 20th. Baby Monster has previously attracted attention by performing at the Tokyo Ariake Arena for two days on the 11th and 12th, marking their entrance into arena-sized venues just 40 days after their official debut.
YG also mentioned, "Tickets for the two-day concert with a capacity of 20,000 were sold out early, and due to fan requests, additional seats were opened. A pop-up store inside the Shibuya Miyashita Park, held to commemorate the concert, is also doing well. From forming queues of hundreds of people from the first day to seeing products sell out, it's so popular that we're planning additional openings in the region."
Baby Monster will embark on their debut Asian fan meeting tour, starting from Tokyo and continuing to Jakarta, Indonesia on June 8th, Singapore on June 15th, Taipei, Taiwan on June 23rd, and Bangkok, Thailand on June 29th and 30th, totaling seven events in five cities. In August, they will perform at 'Summer Sonic 2024,' Japan's largest music festival.
