From April 30 to May 7, Jimin received 4,271 out of 7,041 total votes in a survey titled "Cute Idol Collection! K-pop Idol You Want as Your May Calendar," conducted by the Japanese Hallyu media outlet Danmee. He secured first place with a high vote percentage of 60.66%. The theme of this poll, which coincided with Children's Day on May 5, featured childhood photos of 20 K-pop idols as candidates for the May calendar.
Danmee's surveys aim to capture the vibrant voices of Japanese K-pop fans. The selection process considers existing survey vote counts, voting rates, idol activity indices, brand indices, and social media engagement. To ensure fairness, each participant is allowed only one vote.
