BTS member V's song "Friends" has surpassed 195 million streams on Spotify, showcasing its enduring popularity.


As of June 12th, V's "Friends" crossed 195 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. The song holds the record for the most streams among all K-pop songs released in 2024. It also spent the longest time on the global Spotify chart for a K-pop solo artist, charting for 72 days. Additionally, it set a new record by reaching number one on iTunes in 100 countries, a first for any song released worldwide in 2024.


In the United States, "Friends" peaked at number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 5 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, and number 3 on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, remaining on this chart for nine consecutive weeks.


In the UK, the song set a record for the longest charting period for a K-pop song. It debuted at number 13 on the Official Singles Chart and stayed on the chart for two consecutive weeks. Furthermore, it remained on the UK Official Singles Download and UK Official Singles Sales charts for four consecutive weeks, setting the longest charting record for a K-pop solo artist.
