BTS's Jimin has made a significant impact on the UK Official Charts with the pre-release track from his second solo album.


On July 5 (local time), the UK Official Charts announced that Jimin's pre-release track "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)" from his second solo album "MUSE," released on June 28, has ranked 46th on the Official Singles Chart. This marks Jimin's fifth solo entry on the Official Singles Chart. Jimin first entered the chart as a solo artist in 2023 with "VIBE (feat. Jimin of BTS)" (96th place), a collaboration with Taeyang. 


His subsequent solo works, including the pre-release track "Set Me Free Pt.2" (30th place) and the title track "Like Crazy" (8th place) from his first solo album "FACE," also made it to the chart. Additionally, the song "Angel Pt. 1 (Feat. Jimin of BTS, JVKE & Muni Long / FAST X Soundtrack)" from the movie "Fast & Furious: Ride or Die" reached 82nd place on the chart.


"Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)" also topped the "Singles Downloads" and "Singles Sales" charts. The song is based on a marching band concept, combining big band sounds with hip-hop to create a lively bounce and rhythm. Jimin's refreshing vocals and Loco's smooth rap add to the song's appeal.


Additionally, on July 6 at midnight, BTS's official social media accounts shared the "SERENADE" version mood photos from Jimin's album "MUSE." While the first concept, "BLOOMING," featured fully bloomed flowers as the main object, the newly released photos showcase a guitar as the central prop. In the mood photos, Jimin is seen wearing a sleek black suit, standing by a vintage stand with the guitar. The "SERENADE" version concept photos and clips will be released on July 7.
