BOYNEXTDOOR, with their debut single in Japan, surpasses 100,000 copies on the first day, ranking 2nd on Oricon.
According to the chart released by Oricon on the 10th, BOYNEXTDOOR's debut single "AND," sold 101,271 copies on its release day, entering the Daily Single Ranking (as of July 9) at 2nd place. This nearly doubles the first-day sales of their mini-album "HOW," released in Korea last April, which sold 56,529 copies in Japan on its first day, setting a new record for their first-day Oricon sales.
Additionally, following their first-place entries on the same chart with their mini-albums "WHY.." and "HOW?," their debut single in Japan has also secured a high ranking, demonstrating their significant popularity in the country.
"AND," is a single that continues the story of the first love trilogy presented in Korea. It depicts the growth story of youth, experiencing first love, accepting breakups, and moving forward, like a movie. The single includes four tracks: Japanese versions of the title tracks from their Korean albums "One and Only" (debut single "WHO!"), "But Sometimes" (mini-album "WHY.."), "Earth, Wind & Fire" (mini-album "HOW?"), and an original Japanese song "GOOD DAY."
BOYNEXTDOOR appeared on NTV's morning information variety show "Dayday." on the 10th, performing "Earth, Wind & Fire (Japanese Ver.)." Throughout the live broadcast, they showcased a consistently cheerful stage presence.
